Beth Potter Bryan graduated from Ridley High School where she was the captain of the field hockey, basketball and lacrosse teams her senior year. She was a 2 time High School Lacrosse All-American who attended the University of Virginia on a lacrosse scholarship. Beth was awarded the Heather Lee Albert Award (MVP Award of the National Tournament). She was a four year starter earning All-American, South Regional All-American and All-ACC honors and was the team captain her senior year. She had the chance to play in 2 National Championships and win an ACC Championship while at Virginia. She graduated with her BA in Psychology and her Masters in Teaching.
After college Beth was hired as an elementary school teacher in the Ridley School District and was the head Varsity Girls Lacrosse coach at Ridley High School. During her coaching career at Ridley, her team made the playoffs 9 out of 10 seasons and played in the District 1 State Championship game two times.
She also coached for the Phantastix Club Lacrosse team for one year and the Ultimate Goal Lacrosse Club for 3 years. She started and ran the Reaction Lacrosse Camp for 3rd-8th graders at Ridley High School during the summer for three years.
Most recently, in 2017, Beth was inducted into the Pennsylvania Athletes Hall of Fame for All-Around Athlete. Beth is a 2nd Grade teacher in the Ridley School District and has 4 children. She is President of the Ridley Girls Youth Lacrosse Program.
